Product Specialist – Dermatology & Pain Portfolio
Job Description
- Reporting directly to Sales Manager, the incumbent is responsible for driving and implementing sales strategy for a dermatology and pain portfolio, penetrating both government hospital, private specialists, and general practitioner channels.
- Accountable for the product portfolio sales revenue and territory deliverables.
- Account Management
- Able to identify and map out targeted accounts to drive new sales adoption and penetration.
- Establish good working relationship with internal/external stakeholders (at all levels)
- Service & maintain existing business (contracts, quotations, tenders, HCP relationship management).
- Proactively seek new business opportunities and untapped account potential.
- Track account sales and provide accurate territory forecast (sales, penetration rates and market share).
- Establish deep understanding of customer needs, challenges, competition, and key market trends.
- Plan and execute own territory sales activities and coordinating CME activities implemented by Marketing team.
- Able to obtain and map sales / market intelligence through his / her market relationships and applies the knowledge to form tangible solutions across sales territories/channel
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Science/Pharmacy/Business Management.
- Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with 1 to 2 years (Product Specialist) or 3 to 5 years (Senior Product Specialist) working experience in Pharmaceutical Sales are preferred.
- Proven Sales track record in Specialty Therapeutic Area is a plus
- Experience in Hospital Drug Formulary Listing, New Product Account Management, and sound knowledge of Singapore healthcare landscape, including subsidies and reimbursement processes will be preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
- Possess a class 3 valid driving license and a vehicle.
