Title: Manager Sales
Zhongshan Park, SG, SG
The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing a high‑performing sales team to achieve sustainable growth for assigned pharmaceutical brands in Singapore. He/She ensures strong commercial execution while maintaining full compliance with HSA regulations, industry codes (e.g. SGPI / SAPI), and company governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Market Performance
- Achieve and exceed sales, growth, and market share targets for assigned territories and brands
- Execute brand strategies across public institutions (clusters), private hospitals, specialists, GPs, and retail channels, as applicable
- Drive effective in‑market execution including call planning, segmentation, targeting, and promotional focus
- Support and execute new product launches in Singapore
2. Team Leadership & Field Coaching
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Medical Representatives / Sales Executives
- Conduct regular field coaching to improve call quality, scientific detailing, and compliance
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and deliver structured feedback
- Build bench strength through talent identification, onboarding, and capability development
3. Customer & Account Management
- Build strong relationships with key HCPs, pharmacists, and institutional stakeholders
- Support key account management initiatives in public hospitals and large private groups
- Collaborate with Medical, Marketing, Market Access, and Commercial Excellence teams to deliver integrated customer engagement
4. Business Planning & Analytics
- Develop and execute territory and account business plans aligned with Singapore commercial strategy
- Analyze market trends, prescription data, and competitor activities
- Ensure accurate forecasting, CRM reporting, and sales analytics
- Optimize territory coverage and resource deployment
5. Compliance, Governance & Ethics
- Ensure all sales activities comply with:
- Health Sciences Authority (HSA) regulations
- Singapore Association of Pharmaceutical Industries (SAPI) / Singapore Association of Pharmaceutical Industries Professional Code (SGPI)
- Company policies on promotional practices and interactions with HCPs
- Uphold high standards of ethical selling and pharmacovigilance reporting
- Ensure 100% adherence to documentation, CRM, and audit requirements

- Market share and competitive performance
- Quality of sales execution and call effectiveness

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field
- 5–8+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience in Singapore
- 2–3+ years of proven people management experience
- Strong understanding of Singapore healthcare system, including public hospital clusters and private sector dynamics
- Experience working in a regulated, compliance‑driven environment
