About The Role
The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) serves as DKSH's subject matter expert on key indications within the cardiometabolic portfolio, developing and driving field medical excellence and activities in Hong Kong. This role is critical to delivering objectives at the highest standard of quality, in alignment with local regulations and business priorities.
General Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Medical Affairs to develop medical strategy and drive timely execution of key medical activities for relevant therapeutic areas
- Conduct situational and gap analyses of therapeutic and diagnostic landscapes for assigned therapeutic areas, presenting findings in a clear and visually compelling manner to key stakeholders
- Develop and implement a scientific communication plan that fosters meaningful dialogue with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to deepen understanding of clinical management landscapes for relevant therapeutic areas
- Design and execute structured avenues to gather insights from key experts, including advisory boards and scientific consultations, with proper documentation and dissemination of findings
- Manage named patient programmes and compassionate use programmes in alignment with client requirements, ensuring seamless transition to commercial supply
- Provide platforms to educate HCPs on emerging clinical data and the appropriate use of DKSH products
- Support medical affairs activities including advisory board meetings, Continuing Medical Education (CME), speaker development, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements, company policies, and relevant treatment guidelines
Job Requirements:
- Degree or above in Life Science/Medical/ Pharmacy related disciplines
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a comparable Medical Science Liaison or medical affairs role
- Experience in the cardiometabolic therapeutic areas, or a related field, is preferred
- Understanding of the local healthcare environment and system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
- Good research and analytical skills
- Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
