Title:  Assistant Manager, Business Analysis & Planning

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and analytical talent to join our FMCG team in Hong Kong as Assistant Manager, Business Analysis and Planning (P&G). As Assistant Manager, Business Analysis and Planning, you will support the team in analyzing sales performance, preparing business insights, and contributing to planning processes that drive commercial growth. 

Responsibilities: 

• Analyze actual sales, customer data and product performance to provide insights and recommendations to the team 

• Prepare business analysis in various aspects including sales KPI planning, dashboard building and staff performance analysis 

• Support sales forecasting in alignment with Demand Planning, and conduct variance analysis against actual results 

• Monitor revenue and promotion fund utilization to ensure alignment with business objectives 

• Analyze customer trends and market data to identify the potential root causes of business challenges, and surface findings to support the team's decision-making 

• Assist in setting sales targets and KPI targets including metrics such as productive stores and GSKU count 

• Support the design, development and maintenance of sales dashboards 

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Legal and Operations teams to support smooth business planning and cross-functional execution 

• Support inventory and stock scrapping processes in collaboration with relevant internal teams 

• Participate in SOP streamlining, enhancement and automation projects to improve efficiency of report generation and business data management 

• Perform other business analytics duties as assigned 

Requirements: 

• Degree holder in Business Administration; majors in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines would be an advantage 

• 3 to 5 years of work experience in FMCG, retail, or fast-moving industry preferable 

• Strong concept of data warehouse management, data engineering and data visualization 

• Strong sense of data security, data governance and compliance, with sound judgment in handling confidential information appropriately 

• Experience in reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus 

• A good team player with strong commercial acumen 

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese 

• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Supervisor level
