About The Role

The Representative, Medical Sales is responsible for promoting pharmaceutical products and medical devices to healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and retail channels across assigned territories in Laos. In this role, you will drive sales performance and deepen customer engagement to support DKSH's growth objectives in the healthcare market.

What You Will Deliver

  • Achieve sales targets for assigned businesses and territories by executing structured sales plans and proactive customer engagement strategies.
  • Call on and visit existing and prospective customers to solicit orders, secure product demonstration opportunities, and identify quotation prospects.
  • Conduct compelling product demonstrations that highlight key features and customer benefits, converting engagements into measurable sales outcomes.
  • Prepare quotation and tender prices, delivery terms, and commercial terms in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities, market developments, and sales performance to support informed business decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases to ensure business continuity and reporting integrity.
  • Manage customer complaints and queries, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution to sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Inform existing and prospective customers of promotions and new or upgraded products to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery or installation of products and systems.
  • Support the development of key customer relationships in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance sales processes, customer satisfaction, and overall sales performance.
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, General Medicine, or a related field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience working with a pharmaceutical company.
  • Foundational knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry, market dynamics, competitors, and customer needs.
  • Knowledge of assigned pharmaceutical products, medical devices, and services, complemented by strong selling skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted customer relationships.
  • Basic research and analytical skills to support sales planning and performance tracking.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in the local language and working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
