Job Summary

Lead and oversee distribution center operations to ensure overall efficient and effective operations. 

General Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead the development and enhancement of distribution center strategies, policies and processes to optimize warehouse capacity, enhance productivity and minimize costs
  • Oversee the distribution center operations to ensure fulfillment of orders and distributions are completed in timely manner.
  • Oversee manpower resources and utilization, and plan critical resources in advance to ensure efficient distribution center operations
  • Determine equipment, infrastructure and facilities requirements to ensure availability and reliability
  • Monitor and identify operational cost drivers, establish business controls and provide solutions to reduce costs and increase revenue
  • Oversee distribution center operations to ensure distribution center is in compliance with good documentation practice (GDP)
  • Institute and sustain quality control measures/procedures to ensure accuracy of stocks/inventory and prevent damage to goods whether in storage or transit
  • Ensure the quality of the product and service within the warehouse is maintained at the highest possible standards for the customer
  • Manage root cause analysis and establish corrective actions on stocks holding, product quality and trade fulfillment
  • Manage customer services and relationships through providing regular feedback and periodic operations review
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Business Development, etc.) to develop existing and new business to maximize utilization of warehouse.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of distribution center, distribution and transportation
  • Proven experience in managing warehouse operations, KPIs and cost structures
  • Proven experience in managing complex supply chains in a multinational and cross-border environment
  • Proven experience and know-how in cost efficiency/reduction and productivity improvement initiatives
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken #LI-MZ1

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
