Title:  Manager, Distribution Center Operations & Transportation

The Manager, Distribution Center (DC) Operations & Transportation leads end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations across Laos, ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective supply chain delivery for DKSH's Consumer Goods business. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction while maximizing warehouse utilization and contributing to sustainable business growth.

• Lead the development and enhancement of Distribution Center strategies, policies, and processes to optimize warehouse capacity, improve productivity, and minimize operational costs.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders and distributions through effective oversight of Distribution Center operations.
• Oversee manpower resources and utilization, planning critical resources in advance to maintain efficient and uninterrupted operations.
• Determine equipment, infrastructure, and facility requirements to ensure operational availability and reliability.
• Monitor operational cost drivers, establish business controls, and deliver actionable solutions to reduce costs and increase revenue.
• Ensure Distribution Center compliance with Good Documentation Practice (GDP) standards at all times.
• Maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent damage to goods in storage or transit.
• Uphold the highest standards of product quality and customer service within the Distribution Center.
• Manage root cause analysis and establish corrective actions for stock holding issues, product quality concerns, and trade fulfillment challenges.
• Build and manage strong customer relationships through regular feedback and periodic operational reviews.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales and Business Development, to grow existing and new businesses and maximize warehouse utilization.
• Monitor temperature-controlled and cold chain storage conditions in line with Global Quality procedures and accepted storage parameters.
• Set and cascade team goals clearly, ensuring alignment and accountability across the function.
• Drive the learning and development of the team in Supply Chain Management and DKSH behaviors to achieve function goals.
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or a related field.
• Minimum five to eight years of experience in a similar role.
• Minimum three years of experience in a managerial capacity.
• In-depth understanding of Distribution Center operations, distribution, and transportation.
• Proven experience managing warehouse operations, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and cost structures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex supply chains in a multinational and cross-border environment.
• Proven expertise in cost efficiency, cost reduction, and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
