Title: Engineer Technical Sales

Job Summary
Promote and sell the company’s products with the objective to achieve profit margin and customer satisfaction within established policies, procedures and guideline.
General Responsibilities
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources.
- Design and develop new equipment and systems or redesign of existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers.
- Research and analyze customer needs and suggest product features based on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.
- Assist sales team in configuring the correct solutions for the customers.
- Study new products/technologies aligned with existing product lines to recommend enhancements or modifications.
- Assist sales team on product demonstrations/technical presentations to customers or at conferences to promote products and services.
- Provide pre-sales technical support through presentations and customer visits.
- Run sample tests on instruments as and when needed (in-house or at customer sites)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing users.
- Provide training to customers in post-sales and method development.
- Provide after-sales technical support through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration services.
- Coordinate with relevant client and global key-service contact to provide efficient service related to the local installed base equipment.

Functional Skills and Knowledge
- At least 1– 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Command in English both spoken and written.
- Strong interpersonal & communication skill.
- Computer literacy, especially excel and Power Point.
Education
- Bachelor degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
