Job Summary

To provide administrative and operational support to the sales team by ensuring accurate order processing, documentation, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient sales operations and supporting revenue generation in the consumer goods business.

General Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Verify pricing, discounts, promotions, and product availability.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/logistics for order fulfillment and delivery.
  • Monitor order status and manage any issues or discrepancies.
  • Act as a point of contact for sales representatives and customers on administrative matters.
  • Support customer inquiries related to orders, billing, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain strong coordination with key accounts and distributors.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Track sales performance, stock levels, and delivery status.
  • Assist in data analysis for sales forecasting and planning.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all transactions (invoices, delivery notes, contracts).
  • Support compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for sales documents.
  • Liaise with finance for billing, payment follow-ups, and credit issues.
  • Coordinate with marketing for promotions, product launches, and campaigns.
  • Work closely with supply chain to ensure product availability.
  • Assist sales team with scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and reports.
  • Support in preparing proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Handle general administrative tasks related to the sales function.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, administration, or customer service
  • Experience in consumer goods / FMCG industry is a strong advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Basic data analysis and reporting skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
