National Account Manager role – DKSH Consumer Goods

We are currently looking for an experienced National Account Manager who achieves or exceeds budgeted sales and margins through sales of DKSH Lifestyle products.
Responsibility:
- Develops and grows assigned National Accounts (including but not limited to Myer, David Jones, Harris Scarfe & Spotlight) and completes sales and marketing reports accurately.
- Executes and maximises sales with monthly and periodic promotions in line with account, business and market expectations.
- Ensures that Consumer Goods’ products are effectively merchandised in stores for maximum retail and resell advantage.
- Concisely reports on activities and aspects noted in the territory that may influence our place in the market.
- Communicates promptly, efficiently and professionally as well as creates goodwill with customers at a constant high standard whilst providing first class customer service.
- Identifies potential customers in the sales territory that can be targeted for the sale of clearance lines, stock reduction lines and slow-moving stock.
- Increases the range of HHL products stocked in all retailers as well as gaining increased shelf space.
- Is conversant and mindful of competitors range of products, new product releases and promotional activities to ensure that L&H products are not disadvantaged in the market.
- Actively participates in the set up and running of trade shows as required, always keeping a clear focus towards maximising sales results for the company.
Qualifications:
- Ideally degree qualified or equivalent tertiary background.
- 5 years’ experience kitchenware retail environment.
- Have high numerical aptitude and comfortable working with financial reports, data sets, and building reports.
- Experienced with retailer portals and intermediate level with MS Office programmes.
- High-level of people skills with the ability to adapt to different personalities both internally and externally.
- Knowledge of products similar or equivalent to DKSH HHL products.
- Sound presentation skills and the ability to confidently deal with buyers
- Proactive, self-disciplined, well-presented and well-organised.
We offer flexible working arrangements, with 2 days working from home once established in the role.
