Manager, HR Business Partner.

Southbank, Melbourne. 12‑Month Fixed‑Term Contract.

We are seeking a high‑energy, confident Manager, HR Business Partner who enjoys building strong relationships, influencing leaders, and delivering both strategic and hands‑on people initiatives.

About the Role

You will work closely with Business Unit and Functional leaders to deliver HR initiatives that improve performance, build capability, and strengthen engagement and culture. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and brings a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.

Strategic & Operational HR

  • Deliver HR strategies aligned to business goals
  • Support short and long‑term people initiatives
  • Contribute to organisational design and change activities
  • Use HR insights and data to guide decisions

Talent, Capability & Workforce Planning

  • Lead succession planning, talent reviews and capability development
  • Support workforce planning, job evaluation and benchmarking
  • Collaborate with leaders on capability roadmaps
  • Assist to drive recruitment planning strategies

Performance, Rewards & HR Cycles

  • Guide leaders through performance reviews and goal setting
  • Support annual salary and bonus review cycles
  • Prepare compensation modelling and salary proposals
  • Provide advice on performance improvement where needed

What You’ll Bring

  • HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
  • Experience across talent, performance, reward and organisational change
  • Ability to interpret and use HR data and metrics
  • Exposure managing Mergers & Acquisitions 
  • Experience with SuccessFactors (advantage)
