As a Digital Workplace Manager, you will lead a team who designs and delivers endpoint and end-user services for Windows, iOS and Android devices for DKSH Australia. You will be expected to conceptualise, implement and manage DKSH’s Digital Workplace services and ensure high levels of availability, performance and security across the market. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of desktop engineers’ deliverables across Service, Security, Financial and People pillars.
  • Manage escalations, workload, and assignment across the team. Support and collaborate in initiatives, projects, and audits.
  • Handle and support senior management users (including Country Leadership Team) and internal senior managers.
  • Drive modernization of the workplace environment to increase productivity & efficiency and support in the digital transformation journey.
  • Proactively seek and communicate strategies for improvement in both the operational and customer satisfaction aspects of Digital Workplace
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate team workload and organizational efficiency with the support of IT systems, data, analysis and team feedback and make appropriate changes in order to meet business needs.
  • Provide team members/direct reports with clear direction and targets that are aligned with business needs and Global IT strategies
  • Participate in Country IT budget planning, control, and management.
  • Learn, live, and coach DKSH’s VMP (Vision. Mission. Principles), lead changes by bringing clarity, energy, and delivering success.
  • Oversee DW finances, including ongoing purchases, to ensure spending trends are within the annual budget forecast.

 

To be successful you will have:

  • 5-8 years’ experience as IT Operations manager
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or other engineering related field
  • ITIL Certified, must have and any change management certification is a plus
  • Experience in managing IT infrastructure-related projects, such as network upgrades, cloud migrations, office expansions, relocations and the likes.
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.
  • Willing to learn new technologies and systems quickly, and adapt to a very fast-paced, fast-changing environment.
  • Experience in deploying and supporting desktops, laptops, video conferencing, and networking devices.
  • Experience in data analytics and dashboard implementation.
  • Able to analyse, trouble-shoot and diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
  • An understanding of the ITIL/ITSM processes with knowledge of the various ITSM stages
  • Strong customer service, communication skills and leadership skill
  • Willingness to work outside of normal business hours to handle urgent business requirements (e.g. service interruptions, deadlines)
  • Team and resource management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in an MNC-level End User Computing function.
  • Support experience with various operating systems (Mac, Windows, Linux, Android, iOS).
