We are currently looking for a Distribution Centre Team Leader for our brand new Ravenhall warehouse.  This role is responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, and maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.

A key focus of the role is applying 5S principles—Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain—to drive workplace organization, cleanliness, and operational discipline. The Team Leader oversees staff performance, coordinates workflows, and ensures that the distribution centre operates in alignment with company policies and service level expectations.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient and accurate order processing
• Lead and motivate team members to meet productivity and safety targets
• Implement and maintain 5S principles (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movements to prevent shortages or overstock
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards across all warehouse activities
• Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize delays and disruptions
• Conduct regular team briefings and training to reinforce best practices and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams to align distribution activities
• Track performance metrics and report on team output, accuracy, and efficiency

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment
• Working knowledge of 5S
• Basic computer literacy (e.g., for inventory systems or RF scanners)
• Forklift license (desirable)
• Good physical fitness – ability to lift, move, and handle goods safely
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
