Title:  Senior Application Specialist

About the Role

The Senior Application Specialist provides technical and scientific expertise across genomics, proteomics, and cell analysis solutions within DKSH's Life Sciences business. This role partners closely with customers and the commercial team to support solution design, product adoption, training, and customer success, while contributing to regulatory activities where required.

What You Will Deliver

• Provide technical pre-sales support through customer meetings, presentations, workflow discussions, and product demonstrations
• Design and develop application workflows using instruments, reagents, and related solutions to address customer and research needs
• Deliver customer training, method development support, and post-sales application guidance to drive product adoption and long-term customer success
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, researchers, and laboratory users
• Identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and support scientific collaborations to strengthen DKSH's market presence
• Support workshops, seminars, and conferences to enhance customer knowledge and awareness of solutions
• Partner with the sales team to recommend and configure appropriate customer solutions
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert in genomics, proteomics, and/or cell analysis applications
• Support regulatory submissions, registrations, and communications with relevant authorities when required
• Coordinate responses to regulatory queries, inspections, and audits in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, or a related scientific discipline
• Experience in laboratory environments, application support, technical sales, or field application specialist roles
• Strong scientific knowledge in genomics, proteomics, and/or cell analysis
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as sequencing, Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), and/or flow cytometry is highly advantageous
• Exposure to regulatory affairs is an advantage
• Commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively
• Ability to build credibility with scientific and technical stakeholders
