About the Role

This role leads the strategic direction, commercial growth, and operational excellence of the SCE business line within DKSH's Technology business in Singapore. In this role, you will shape and execute business strategy, build high-performing teams, and drive sustainable growth across sales, service, and marketing functions.

 

What You Will Deliver

  • Own and deliver Singapore (SG) and SCE financial objectives, driving Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) performance, Profit and Loss (P&L) accountability, and resource allocation to maximize operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Define and execute the SCE business strategy, translating industry trends into actionable commercial plans that grow revenue, expand market share, and strengthen competitive positioning.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through portfolio expansion, value-added services, and innovative business models, while growing service contract penetration and recurring revenue streams.
  • Drive operational excellence across sales fulfilment, service delivery, and complaint resolution, leveraging digital tools and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to generate insights and continuously improve performance.
  • Strengthen market presence through targeted marketing strategies, industry engagement, thought leadership, and representation at trade shows and technical forums.
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of direct reports, overseeing talent acquisition, capability development, succession planning, and a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, or related Engineering field.
  • Industry experience in semiconductor and electronics
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong strategic and business leadership capabilities, with the ability to set direction, define goals, and align teams toward organizational priorities.
  • Proven commercial and market excellence capabilities, including portfolio management, business development, and competitive positioning.
  • Strong financial management skills, including Profit and Loss (P&L) ownership, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Strong data analysis skills to support evidence-based decision-making and performance management.
  • Operational excellence and service leadership experience, with a track record of improving processes, turnaround times, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong people and organizational leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder and ecosystem management capabilities, including building partnerships with customers, suppliers, and industry networks.
  • Governance and risk management awareness.
