Title: SCM Financial Analysis & Reporting Specialist

General responsibilities
• Financial Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of supply chain costs, including logistics, warehousing, inventory, transport optimization and procurement. Identify cost-saving opportunities and risks within the supply chain network.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Work with the Finance and Supply Chain teams to develop, monitor, and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, cost reduction, and working capital. Analyze trends and variances, providing actionable insights.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial reports on supply chain costs and performance. Present findings to management and stakeholders with a focus on financial insights and actionable recommendations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, operations, and logistics teams to understand their financial impacts and support process improvements that enhance financial outcomes.
• Inventory and Working Capital Management: Analyze inventory levels and working capital requirements to optimize cash flow while ensuring adequate supply levels.

Job requirements
Functional skills and knowledge
• Demonstrate good working knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
• Demonstrate good working knowledge and application of financial/accounting principles and budgetary management
• Proven hands-on experience in SAP accounting applications is an advantage
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills, including statistical computations
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken

Education
• Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
Work experience
• Minimum two to five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably with financial planning and reporting exposure
