Title: Lead Supply Planning Manager

Job Summary
Manage and monitor the Supply Chain functions (inbound and outbound) to support Business Unit growth, operational efficiencies and service standards
General Responsibilities
- Manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient allocation of resources, where applicable
- Manage implementation of country or Business Unit specific supply chain management initiatives to support client and customer solutions
- Monitor and examine procurement requests against sales forecasts and current inventory
- Manage and monitor inventory policies and procedures to ensure order fulfillment to customers with the freshest stock possible
- Manage and investigate sources of supply to maximize efficiency and develop alternatives where necessary
- Manage supply chain strategic initiatives/programs to optimize supply chain performance
- Develop and consolidate supply chain reports and analyses to facilitate management decision-making
- Build effective business relationships with clients, customers, government agencies and service providers
- Maintain productive working relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. Sales, Finance, Product Management, etc.)
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrate working understanding of supply chain management
- Demonstrate knowledge in warehouse and transportation management systems (ideally SAP)
- Demonstrate knowledge of sales forecasting, material requirements planning and purchase order processing
- Demonstrate basic understanding of industrial engineering fundamentals and logistics solution design
- Demonstrate experience in cost control and productivity improvement initiatives
- Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
