Title: Compliance Officer for Privacy and Governance

The Compliance Officer for Privacy and Governance supports the compliance and data privacy and protection program of the Company, ensuring that integrity and ethical behavior, privacy by design and privacy hygiene are always maintained in all the Company’s business transactions and in all other activities. The COPG assists and supports the Country Compliance Manager and other Business Unit Compliance Managers in the management and the leadership on building and maintaining the Tone from Top while supporting governance and data privacy compliance related matters in daily business operations.
- Job Scope
- The COPG shall primarily assist and support the Country Compliance Manager in maintaining the Country Compliance and Data Protection Program and ensures a sound understanding of the local business activities and applicable laws and regulations;
- Coordinates with all relevant stakeholders (management and the other assurance functions) to promote an integrity-based culture of compliance and privacy by design;
- Supports the development and execution of training and awareness programs for internal and external stakeholders on all compliance-related policies & processes;
- Monitors and assist resolution of data protection concerns and issues of functions and sites as well as internal and external stakeholders in the resolution of any data privacy policy or legal issues encountered
- Conducts Technical Research and gathers information and materials on data privacy, data protection and other related topics for the use of the DPO/General Counsel or the Legal and Compliance Function when resolving issues encountered by DKSH Companies that involve data privacy;
- Assists in the drafting, collection, documentation, analysis, and review of all internal and external policies relating to data privacy and protection
- Assists in the preparation of knowledge products and information, communication, and educational materials relating to data privacy
- Prepares technical papers and office-related materials such as memoranda, activity designs, concept notes, studies and presentations
- Monitor developments and news for key data privacy matters, issues or announcements that may impact or affect DKSH Companies
- Undertake documentation and records management tasks and oversee and supervise the Data Management System of DKSH Companies (Personal, Technical, Organizational and Financial)
- Handles and updates the data inventory (personal, commercial and technical) of DKSH Companies
- Assists in implementing and monitoring the compliance of functions to the Group Data Privacy and Protection Policy
- Provides day-to-day communication and collaboration with functional teams and points of contact for the effective implementation of Code of Business Conduct (CoBC), Anti Bribery & Corruption (ABAC) Policy, DKSH Supplier Code of Conduct, Third Party Intermediary Policy (TPI), Conflicts of Interest Directive (COI), Gifts Hospitality and Entertainment Policy (GHE), Trade Compliance, Anti-Fraud, Compliance Incidents and Reporting Investigations (CIRI) Policy, and other compliance-related policies of the GRC;
- Coordinates with the CCM the implementation of internal compliance processes, with respect to the E-learning modules, TPI process and other compliance platforms that may be implemented;
- Assist in the performance of compliance risk assessments and monitoring activities;
- Align with the CCM regarding local compliance priorities and organize resource needs and execute plan and priority activities based on risk considerations;
- Ensure that interactions with local authorities and regulators are coordinated and implement processes to identify and manage regulatory requests and deadlines;
- Coordinate with other compliance officers to share best practices;
- Support GRC projects from time to time.
