This role of Finance Business Partner is pivotal in driving supply chain and broader business performance improvements through financial analysis, budgeting, governance and strategic decision-making. It will support four business units across 2 countries by delivering critical financial insights, analysis, and recommendations across key supply chain functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and report on key supply chain metrics, including Customer Fill Rate (CFE), DIFOT, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory, Excess Inventory, and Supply Chain Cost Variances
- Conduct deep-dive variance analysis to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with supply chain leaders to improve efficiency and cost management
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for all supply chain costs, including warehouse staffing, transportation, and distribution expenses
- Monitor actual vs. forecasted costs, providing insights on variances and corrective actions
- Work closely with supply chain, operations, and finance teams to support strategic initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making
- Develop business cases for CAPEX, warehousing and distribution investments
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards that provide visibility into supply chain performance
- Support key KPI reporting for 3PL arrangements
- Analyse Demand and Supply Plans to ensure that supply chain planning and operations are aligned with customer needs
- Providing insights into business performance and identifying areas for improvement
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years in financial analysis, supply chain finance, FP&A, or IBP Finance Partnering in an FMCG, retail, or manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel, ERP systems (SAP or Oracle), and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence decision-making
- Proactive approach to identifying cost efficiencies and process improvements
