The Key Account Manager/commercial manager will own key account strategy development in our biopharma, animal care segment, nutraceuticals and pharmaceutical, working collaboratively with other internal functions to drive top line sales growth. Understanding the strategic challenges and priorities of all customers, the Key Account Manager/commercial manager will deliver timely and effective solutions that drive new business and share of wallet growth to a high potential customer base. 

 

About the role

  • Strategically align client objectives with DKSH's commercial objectives, ensuring a synergy that drives mutual growth and commitment
  • Use market data and sales analytics to deepen existing customer relationships and engage with new customers and secure their business.
  • Continuously identifying value propositions to position optimally against competitors’ products
  • Drive the project pipeline by working closely with internal stakeholders to align resources and drive implementation
  • Devise effective pricing strategies to safeguard gross margins while promoting growth
  • Develop an intimate understanding of our customers' business needs and future aspirations, positioning us as their trusted partner
  • Engage in negotiations with customers, forging partnerships and seizing major project opportunities
  • Continuously tend to client product portfolios, identify unique value propositions that position us optimally against competitor products, farm your portfolio for growth and develop go-to-market plans that collaborate with the team to create new opportunities

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A related technical degree or minimum 4-5 years’ technical sales and product management experience in key account management within biopharma animal care, pharmaceutical and /or nutraceutical industry.
  • Possess market segment skills, including knowledge of the key players, competitors and industry trends
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • CRM experience to ensure maximised efficiency, call planning and pipeline management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with people across all seniority
  • Manage an effective sales process, marketing strategies
