As a Territory Manager reporting to the National Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing end-user customer relationships within the Independent Grocery & Harris Farm channel. This includes overseeing a diverse portfolio of renowned DKSH Client brands such as Lipton, Perrier, Nando’s Oatly, Little Bellies, and La Zuppa. Operating in a highly autonomous capacity, you will take ownership of customers across NSW & ACT, driving sales growth, securing new distribution channels, ensuring comprehensive territory coverage, and managing key MSO’s.

Key responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining regular 'call cycle' visits to foster growth
  • Planning weekly 'call cycle' activities, including promotions, new line submissions, and marketing initiatives
  • Achieving distribution targets for core product lines
  • Optimizing product positioning on shelves and displays
  • Merchandising stock, including display set-up
  • Building key customer relationships across various stakeholder levels
  • Exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Managing local multisite operator groups within the territory
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams (Business Insights, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Supply Chain) to ensure efficient execution
  • Utilising customer relationship management systems to build and manage customer databases effectively
  • Providing timely and accurate data and reports

To be successful you will possess:

  • Minimum 3 years FMCG experience within a multi-channel environment
  • Advanced knowledge of the industry, market, competitors, and customers
  • Strong relationship and selling skills with proven key customer management experience in the Independent Grocery channel
  • Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders
  • Solid negotiation and communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Independent Grocery experience highly advantageous
  • Valid Australian driver's license
