Title: Manager, Medical Sales

General Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term medical sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets across clinics, private hospitals, and medical centres.
- Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to consistently achieve and exceed sales objectives, with a strong focus on capability building and performance management of junior sales members.
- Monitor sales performance, market dynamics, and competitive activities; identify risks and opportunities, and implement agile, customized sales solutions in response to changing market conditions.
- Leverage strong industry networks to drive business growth, particularly within Orthopaedics and/or Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G).
- Personally manage a defined customer territory with assigned sales targets, maintaining direct customer engagement to drive revenue and demonstrate effective sales execution.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. Marketing, Medical, Commercial Excellence) to understand customer needs, optimize go‑to‑market execution, and capture cross‑portfolio business opportunities.
- Build, strengthen, and sustain long‑term relationships with key customers, key opinion leaders, and business partners to support strategic business objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead regular sales review meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to track performance, align priorities, and ensure execution excellence.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or professional qualification in a Science, Medical, or Healthcare‑related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant medical sales experience in the private sector, with proven exposure in Orthopaedics and/or O&G; experience in Internal Medicine and/or Respiratory Medicine is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated track record of leading and coaching sales teams to achieve challenging sales targets.
- Strong industry network within the Hong Kong private healthcare sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable sales plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin), both written and spoken.
