Job Summary
As Manager - Business Development, you are responsible to lead and develop the channel/product expansion strategies of FMCG in HK and Macau market. Apart from developing new business and the potential channel growth, you are also responsible for establishing long-term business relationship with potential key clients and customers in line with business objectives.
General Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities:
- Model and implement channel/product expansion strategies of FMCG in HK/Macau market to achieve short- and long-term business objectives
- Explore, identify, evaluate and manage business opportunities/leads in securing sales pipeline in line with short- and long-term financial goals
- Lead and analyze the competitive landscape, and make recommendations to senior management about the viability of business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in upselling and to facilitate pricing and contract terms negotiation with potential clients/customers
- Lead the improvement of Business Development processes and cross-functional collaboration to accelerate business effectiveness
- Develop and drive business case and proposal financially, from internal approvals to client presentation
- Establish long-term relationships with potential key clients/customers with the view to enhance business opportunities
- Negotiate and conclude commercial agreement by discussions with various stakeholders, both internally and externally
Leadership Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on accelerating business growth
- Lead learning and development in the area of Business Development and DKSH behavior to achieve team goals
- Drive self-learning in the area of Business Development and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum five years of experience in FMCG industry with 2-3 years' experience in managerial capacity, especially in sales, marketing, business development related role preferred.
- Qualifications related to the technical know-how work area (3PL, operations, financials) will be definitely an advantage
- Strong business acumen, analytical and business analysis skills
- Close connections to the key players in FMCG industry
- Ambitious, assertiveness, self-motivated and result oriented with strong interpersonal, presentation skills and negotiation skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Marketing
