Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Director to join our team! The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting all IT applications and infrastructure working very closely with Group IT for the deployment of global and country-specific IT initiatives and projects. They will also represent DKSH IT in the country and keep country stakeholders, including the management team (MT) informed on key IT initiatives, projects, and activities.
This is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre individual to manage the country IT team to ensure high user satisfaction. The incumbent will have a strategic mindset to drive IT to a high-performance team an drive and deliver digital initiative in alignment with organizational goals
General Responsibilities
- Consistently engage with Country Management team, key business users (including external clients, customers and vendors) and major stakeholders on all IT related activities and requirements
- Develop country IT budget in collaboration with Group IT/Regional IT director, and manage IT operating budgets and costs to ensure spend is in line with plans
- Provide regular updates on key IT deliverables and support issues through status reports and meetings with superiors and Country Management Team
- Report all technical issues to the Regional IT Director pertaining to the key business operations, and ensure escalation to Group IT Incident Manager for major incidents
- Ensure timely, relevant and proper communications to business users on major issues, with regular updates and availably of root cause analysis report
- Provide project management or project support on country IT-related implementation and activities (both applications and infrastructure for acquisitions, new sites and new clients on-boarding)
- Involve and support Group IT on all global initiatives/projects and testing in the country, including disaster recovery planning and testing activities
- Manage, deploy and maintain all desktop systems at all locations to follow global digital workplace standards and policies in a secured IT environment
- Manage IT Service regularly to ensure all incidents and problems are responded and resolved promptly to meet service level agreements, targets and standards
- Provide on-site support to assist Group IT on infrastructure-related components like servers, network devices, including daily backup monitoring and verification
- Manage country IT vendors to ensure service delivery are in line with agreed levels
- Manage and maintain updated IT assets/equipment and software license registers
- Manage and oversee IT team’s delivery of team/function goals to drive execution against goals /KPIs set
- Develop team members including but not limited to ensuring clear expectations and accountabilities, coaching, regular feedback and performance management.
- Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Information Technology and DKSH behaviors as part of continuous learning
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in leading an IT team
- Strong business process/ operations knowledge and experience
- Experience in managing key stakeholders (country management team or Exco members)
- Demonstrated familiarity with SAP functional modules and SAP project implementation experience
- Multinational Corporation operation and people manager experience
- Has working experience in an IT environment with a global shared services centralized model
- Good knowledge in Digital and AI tools
- Solid SAP knowledge and practice

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computing and Information Technology will be beneficial
