About The Role
The Specialist, Digital Workplace is responsible for managing the setup, maintenance, and support of computing devices and digital workplace infrastructure across DKSH's Singapore locations. This role ensures the smooth operation of the End User Computing (EUC) environment and delivers responsive first-level support to enable employee productivity and a reliable technology experience.
What You Will Deliver
- Install and configure desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, desk phones, and related client applications, ensuring all hardware and peripheral components are set up to required standards
- Load, update, and maintain software packages including operating systems, office productivity tools, and other designated applications on end-user devices
- Provide first-level software support to end users for issues related to Windows operating systems, browsers, and office productivity and business applications
- Resolve incidents, problems, and service requests in line with service level agreements (SLAs), targets, and standards to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Support SAP Graphical User Interface (GUI) and printer configurations, file servers, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS), Active Directory (AD), and File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) for file transfers and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), escalating to relevant support teams or vendors where required
- Manage user provisioning in Active Directory, including adding and maintaining users in appropriate systems
- Lead IT onboarding for new joiners, ensuring timely provision of computing devices and Microsoft 365 email accounts
- Ensure end-user computing device security remains current and effectively managed in accordance with organizational policy
- Prepare and execute desktop refresh deployments in alignment with IT standards, strategies, and roadmaps
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all IT equipment across multiple locations
- Adhere to digital workplace best practices, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with audit and industry standards
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required
What You Bring
- Degree or diploma in Computing, Information Technology, or an equivalent discipline
- Demonstrated knowledge of end-user computing management platforms, tools, frameworks, standards, policies, and trends
- Demonstrated experience in deploying and supporting end-user computing environments, preferably within multinational companies and across regions
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, Microsoft Desktop and Active Directory technologies, Ivanti, anti-virus solutions, ZScaler, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
- Strong end-user computing skills encompassing desktop hardware, operating systems, office productivity software, and desktop security management
- Knowledge of basic network troubleshooting principles
- Good understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
- Experience supporting senior and Very Important Person (VIP) users
- Familiarity with remote administration tools and iOS and Android device management
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Microsoft certifications are preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills with fluency in English
