About the Role

The Manager, Customer Account Management drives strategic customer relationships and commercial outcomes within DKSH's Consumer Goods business. This role is pivotal in developing and executing account strategies that deliver sustainable growth and business performance across key modern trade channels.

 

What You Will Deliver

  • Develop and implement go-to-market, sales, and customer strategies for assigned accounts to achieve business goals
  • Manage operating departmental budgets and costs in accordance with annual allocation, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Monitor team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular performance reviews to provide feedback, address performance gaps, and drive continuous improvement
  • Identify the short-term business needs and objectives of key customers and develop proactive business solutions across the full demand and supply chain
  • Lead annual negotiations, including trading terms and conditions, to secure sales agreements and achieve targeted margins
  • Manage and monitor 5P execution performance, covering availability, pricing, share of shelf, and related metrics, ensuring swift resolution of issues by the team
  • Develop deep insights and actionable recommendations from post-evaluation analyses and integrate findings into customer strategies
  • Manage reporting of sales and projected sales and margin forecasts, evaluating trends to facilitate strategic decisions
  • Develop and recommend improvement initiatives on business processes, customer services, and new commercial techniques including category management and scanning
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers and a network of contacts to understand evolving customer needs and deliver business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Trade Marketing, Product Management, and Supply Chain Management to ensure efficient and effective execution

 

What You Bring

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of key account management experience in Modern Trade
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry, market, competitors, and customer landscape
  • Proven selling skills and demonstrated experience in key account management within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG)
  • Broad understanding of supplier and customer relationship management, encompassing supply chain, field marketing, and branding
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
