Sourcing Specialist (Chemical)

General Responsibilities

12. Support the superior in managing day-to-day operating inquiry from countries of outside China
13. Handle from supplier selection, negotiation of purchase contract, price and payment term, plant audit and qualification to export shipment all business process. Ensure to meeting sourcing strategy throughout.
14. Coordinate with Chinese suppliers offering technical service, training and compliance certificate to customers and sales countries.
15. Market trend monitor on responsible products and products of up-down stream.
16. Closely work with sale countries for solving quality compliant and providing other value-added work to customers.
17. Key account outsourcing projects, Price negotiation, Quotation consolidation for bidding, New vendor set-up, New materials, TDS, and SDS into system.

Functional Skills and Knowledge

12. Experience and background in Chemical industry, with broad knowledge of product categories used in special chemical segment. include following industry as well as its up-steam and Down-steam paints & coating, ink, adhesives, plastic industry.
13. Demonstrate sound knowledge of how Chinese chemical producers are organized and channel their sales.
14. Proven business negotiation skill in the negotiation of the price. the contract and the shipment management
15. Good at time management
16. Demonstrate appreciation and respect for culture sensitives especially in cross country /cultural interaction.
17. Self-motivative and pro-active preferrable characters.
18. Team work is a MUST
19. Good English Skill in spoken/written is a MUST
20. International trade experience is a plus
21. 5-10 years’ experience and above in similar role

Education

12. Bachelor degree, preferable in chemical or related disciplines
