About The Role

The Sourcing Specialist (Entry Level) supports the development and execution of sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, supply quality, and operational efficiency for DKSH's business. This role offers early-career professionals a meaningful platform to build expertise in global sourcing and supplier management within a dynamic, international organization.

What You Will Deliver

  • Contribute to the development and execution of sourcing frameworks and strategies that achieve cost savings, greater efficiencies, economies of scale, and higher product quality.
  • Support the management of the existing supplier portfolio in alignment with business priorities, assisting in contract negotiations to secure favorable pricing, payment terms, and commercial outcomes.
  • Conduct market research and preliminary supplier analysis in line with the requirements of regulated markets, including Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Japan, and South and East South Asia (SESA).
  • Anticipate future business requirements by developing an understanding of internal stakeholders' priorities and translating these into sourcing insights.
  • Support the supplier evaluation and qualification process, helping to shortlist suppliers against defined standards such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certification, manufacturing practices, and ethical business conduct.
  • Prepare and present sourcing results and recommendations to management, identifying opportunities for strategic supplier relationships.
  • Support negotiations with potential suppliers to facilitate best-value pricing, payment terms, and contract conditions.
  • Coordinate between suppliers and sales countries to facilitate effective claim resolutions.
  • Support Quality Assurance, Legal, and Management teams in identifying and mitigating potential liabilities and financial exposure.
  • Communicate sourcing plans and progress to internal stakeholders as part of ongoing stakeholder management, and advise on alternative sourcing approaches where applicable.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers relevant to the business's product areas.
  • Monitor market trends across relevant product areas to inform sourcing strategy and business decisions.
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a chemistry-related discipline with an excellent command of English; or Bachelor's degree or above in International Trade, Foreign Trade, or a related field with an excellent command of English.
  • No extensive work experience is required; recent graduates and candidates with limited work experience are welcome to apply.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize market and supplier data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities, particularly in international and cross-cultural interactions.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
