Title: Executive, Distribution Center Operations

Job summary:
- Manage logistics operations, including shipment planning, inventory management, and supervising receiving and put-away teams to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues, resolve customer complaints, and collaborate with service providers to optimize local and international shipments.
- Contribute to process improvements through supply chain projects, while ensuring compliance with logistics procedures and monitoring operational KPIs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items and staff on hand to manage the shipment.
- Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
- Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them, and distributing packages and letters within the company.
- Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.
- Responsible for handling the inbound operations, inventory management, in-bound material receipts, and put-away to inventory.
- Manage local and international shipments utilizing a matrix of customs and international service providers, forwarders.
- Monitoring KPIs of receiving and put-away activity.
- Manage both receiving and put-away team members’ day-to-day operations.
- Responsible for tracking the status of goods receipt, check, and put-away.
- Follow up and ensure closure of problematic receiving documents.
- Participate and contribute to supply chain projects and initiatives for process improvements.
Job Requirements:
- 2–3 years of experience in a logistics or 3PL environment in similar roles.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of logistics and shipping procedures and documents.
- Display knowledge of all rules for modes of transportation.
- Experience as a liaison and ability to evaluate performance of service providers.
- Supervisory experience in building and driving teams.
