Job summary:

Plan and coordinate Operation & Maintenance activity, and enhancement of overall asset performance through the optimization of cost and resources as well as in compliance to HSE, quality assurance (QA), statutory and regulatory requirement, and adhere to standard maintenance procedure and key performance standards to ensure customers comfort and satisfaction.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Cold & Frozen System

•     Plan, coordinate & manage the implementation of Operation & Maintenance activity inclusive drills and alarms testing, contact person for alarms, last but not least, execute incident communication escalation to Management and Quality Assurance (QA).

Facilities Operation & Maintenance

•     Plan, coordinate & manage the implementation of Operation & Maintenance activity to ensure reliability and sustainability of facility equipment in accordance with key performance standards, standard operating procedures, and maintenance agreement.

Support Health Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality Assurance, Risk Management & Compliance, Sustainability

•     Implement, execute and monitor the related operation & maintenance policies, procedures compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements as well as performance standards and program required for the maintenance in line with the requirement of quality and assurance.

HSSE Management

•     Adhere and ensuring the implementation of Group Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) policies and guidelines in all mechanical operation and maintenance of the facilities / assets managed to safeguard the business operations of the facilities and assets managed.

Maintenance and Repair

•     Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, mechanical and electrical equipment, firefighting systems, HVAC and refrigeration systems, Manual Handling Equipment (MHE), and lifts.

Incident Monitoring and Recommendations

•     Monitor incidents, investigate, and make recommendations. Ensure compliance with legislation and guidance related to quality assurance and EHS, and implement procedural changes if necessary.

Data Tracking and Reporting

•     Track and update data on maintenance completion, utilities usage, and costs. Prepare relevant reports.

Vendor and Contractor Coordination

•     Supervise and coordinate work with vendors and contractors.

Facilities System Development

•     Develop and enhance facilities systems to support Distribution Centre (DC) operations.

Expansion and Renovation Planning

•     Plan and supervise building and M&E expansion and renovation works.

Energy Conservation Program

•     Develop and enhance the DC energy conservation program.

Facilities System Review

•     Regularly update and review the facilities system.

HSE and ERT Assistance

•     Assist the HSE management system committee and Emergency Response Team (ERT).

Contractor Performance Review

  • Regularly review the performance of appointed monthly servicing contractors.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or engineering related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Computer literate, with the capability to use systems for information access and report functions
  • Experienced in MS Office applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in engineering (HVAC or cleanroom, control, electrical).
  • Familiarity with engineering drawing software (AutoCAD, Visio, etc.).
  • Experience with project management tools.
  • Understanding safety regulations and procedures.
  • Understanding engineering principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices in engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
