Title:  Engineer Technical Services

About the Role

The Engineer, Technical Services is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Espec environmental test chambers within DKSH's Technology business unit, serving the Semiconductor and Electronics segment in Malaysia. This role is essential to ensuring equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and delivering a consistently high standard of on-site technical support to customers.

 What You Will Deliver

• Perform installation, setup, and commissioning of environmental test chambers to ensure reliable and fully compliant equipment operation
• Carry out preventive maintenance and routine servicing to maximize equipment uptime and long-term reliability
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, refrigeration, and control system issues to restore equipment performance promptly and effectively
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers, minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
• Prepare accurate service reports and maintain proper documentation in accordance with company standards and requirements
• Coordinate technical support activities, communicate clearly and professionally with customers, and manage spare parts arrangement for service and repair jobs
• Ensure all service work is carried out in full compliance with safety requirements and company standards
• Respond to urgent breakdown calls promptly with a solution-focused approach to minimize operational disruption for customers 

 What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in a relevant technical sales or specialty chemicals environment
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry, market, competitors, and customers
• Advanced knowledge of sales and marketing principles with a demonstrated ability to apply them effectively in a technical sales context
• Advanced research and analytical skills with the ability to translate market insights into effective commercial strategies and actions
