Job Summary
Support implementation of marketing plans, creation of marketing tools and coordination of product communication activities. Conduct basic research and compile marketing information for reporting purposes
General Responsibilities
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
- Coordinate and provide administrative support in implementing marketing plans for products and services to achieve business objectives and marketing strategies
- Maintain records of actual marketing expenditures and supporting documents for comparisons against budget
- Conduct basic/desk research and systematically compile data for analysis to derive market information
- Create marketing tools (e.g. leaflets, banners, booth materials, etc.) to ensure effective execution of advertising and promotion activities
- Provide administrative support in organizing product communication activities, launches, exhibitions, media relations activities, etc. to drive awareness of products/services
- Assist in the compilation of marketing information/updates and market research data/analysis as inputs to management report preparation
- Support business planning with internal/external stakeholders (e.g. sales) in budgeting, marketing plans development, etc. to align to business priorities
- Work closely with external vendors and agencies (e.g. event organizers, advertising agencies, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
- Demonstrate a basic knowledge in the company's products/services and application of marketing principles/practices
- Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
Education
Diploma or professional qualification in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration or a related discipline
