Specialty Chemical Sales Specialist (대리~과장)
1. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new customers across Paint & Coatings and Electronics Industries
- Analyze customer needs by industry and develop targeted sales strategies
- Lead new projects and business development
- Develop competitive positioning and pricing strategies
- Expand product penetration and applications within existing customers
- Propose tailored product and supply solutions based on customer needs
Portfolio Expansion (Paint & Coatings and Electronics Industries)
- Leverage existing customer base to expand into Paint & Coatings, adhesive / Architectural and Deco / Automotive paint / Can, Coil industrial / Construction/ Inks / Lamination & Converting / Powder coating
- Leverage existing customer base to expand into Electronics Industries, Semi-conductor / Display / Secondary battery / Lubricants & Greases / Fine chemicals & Custom Synthesis / Medial applications / Petrochemicals
- Introduce new product lines and diversify customer portfolios
- Identify new product opportunities aligned with market demand
- Optimize product portfolio to enhance profitability and business sustainability
Supplier Development & Management
- Source and evaluate new suppliers based on market and customer needs
- Build and maintain relationships with global manufacturers
- Ensure supply stability and competitive product sourcing
Business Management & Strategy Execution
- Manage KPIs including sales, profitability, and inventory turnover
- Develop sales strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis
- Implement pricing strategies and maintain margin performance
- Establish and execute mid-to-long term business plans
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams across operations, finance, logistics, and related functions to ensure effective sales execution
- Manage end-to-end sales processes including order handling, delivery scheduling, inventory coordination, import operations, and accounts receivable
- Align internal processes to meet customer requirements and ensure smooth business operations
- Maintain close communication with internal stakeholders to respond promptly to customer needs
2. Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (Chemical, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer, or Chemistry, or International Trade preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B chemical/material industry
- Experience in Paint & Coatings or Electronics Industries
- Experience in supplier sourcing or portfolio management
- Business-level English communication skills
Preferred
- Experience in chemical distribution business
- Knowledge of Paint & Coatings or Electronics Industries
- Experience working with global suppliers and customers
- Experience in new product development and market introduction
- Ability to provide technical-based customer solutions
- Business-level Chinese communication skills
