Job Summary
Achieve technical sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives
General Responsibilities
- Develop and implement short-term and long-term technical sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories
- Conduct regular sales activities for assigned businesses/territories. Identify and implement customized solutions based on changing markets and trends
- Report on sales and projected sales/margin forecasts. Propose areas for customer base expansion based on market knowledge
- Respond to customer issue and recommend preventive actions to minimize future incidents
- Develop and build relationships with customers to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to better understand client requirements and to leverage cross-product/industry business opportunities
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Min 10 years’ experience years (10~15 preferred)
- Experience requirement: Market experience for “Food ingredient” is MUST
- Degree or professional qualification in Food Science or related discipline
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of industry/market/competitors/customers
- Demonstrate a proven sales track record in assigned products and network of contacts
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken
