Title:  Engineer Technical Services

Job Summary

Supervise service technicians, foreman and employees on technical service assignments to provide timely and reliable technical services to customers and clients

General Responsibilities

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Supervise technical services assignments to comply with procedures and processes
• Identify and suggest improvement initiatives to improve service quality, reduce turnaround time and optimize costs
• Assign and coordinate work assignments and resolution of critical technical and procedural problems
• Maintain service parts and tidiness of service vehicles and take corrective actions
• Check usage, consumption and availability of service spares inventory to support the service business
• Maintain and submit accurate records of preventative maintenance, installations, repairs, time, services, expenses, etc.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and customers
• Coordinate all customer queries and resolve issues in collaboration with the relevant departments

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrate working knowledge in scientific and medical instruments
• Demonstrate working knowledge and experience in trouble-shooting of technology and scientific equipment
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken

Education

Diploma in Engineering (Electronic, Electrical, Mechanic, Bio-Engineering) or related field
