About the role
As an Equipment Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing customer relationships across Queensland. Your focus will be on driving sales, increasing gross margins and supporting strategic marketing initiatives for Bio-Strategy. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and delivering tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse key customer/ product markets to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape.
- Develop and implement a sales growth plan for key customers or prospects.
- Acting as a customer advocate and working with internal stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience
- Pro-actively meet with customers & review key customer data (orders/ backorders) and communicate key information to customers as required.
- Ensure all customer communication is responded to in professional manner and within expected timeframes.
- Ensure any customer reported issues are addressed in a timely manner and the resolution proactively communicated to customers.
- Ensure pricing is maintained at levels according to company guidelines and the market/Agency strategy.
- Monitor market, competitor and customer trends that may impact business plans and work with Commercial Teams to develop market relevant strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A tertiary qualification in Human biology or related subject
- Good understanding of sales principles 2+ years’ experience in a similar role highly desirable
- 5+ years’ laboratory environment experience
- Demonstrated product knowledge of laboratory equipment.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel and Word skills
- Excellent planning and organising skills.
- Demonstrated experience with using CRM systems, such as salesforce or similar.
- High level of communication skills
- Autonomy and self-discipline
