About the Role

Are you a Registered Nurse, living in Brisbane and looking to deepen your clinical expertise and make a real impact with patients?

This is a unique opportunity to support patients living with Parkinson’s disease. You’ll play a key role in patient education, helping individuals better understand and manage their therapy in an empowering, supportive environment. 

While prior Parkinson’s experience is not essential, an interest in neurological conditions or strong empathy for patients living with chronic disease is highly valued.

Working part time 0.6FTE (3 days per week) Initial contract until Dec 2026 with opportunity to extend.


Key Responsibilities

  • Part time work 3 days per week (Mon-Wed preferred if possible)
  • Deliver high-quality patient education for advanced Parkinson’s disease therapies
  • Provide face-to-face  and virtual education to support patient understanding and self-management
  • Work closely with patients, carers, and healthcare teams to support Quality Use of Medicines (QUM)
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update patient records in CRM systems
  • Ability to work ‘on the road’ and travel to visit patients within Brisbane + some regional QLD and occasional training interstate

About You

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5+ years of clinical nursing experience
  • Strong communication, education, and organisational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Comfortable driving and visiting patients in their homes or at clinic appointments
  • Interest in neurology or chronic disease management (advantageous, not essential)
  • Training will be fully provided
