About the role

  • Own key account strategy development in our food and beverage ingredients vertical
  • Work collaboratively with other internal functions to drive top line sales growth
  • Understand the strategic challenges and priorities of all customers
  • Deliver timely and effective solutions that drive new business and share of wallet growth
  • Use market data and sales analytics, bucket loads of tenacity and a natural flair to create a compelling narrative, to penetrate new customers and secure new business
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to align resources and drive execute with excellence

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Technical Qualification in Food (ideally Food Tech, or Food Science)
  • An established network in the Australian food industry
  • Proven experience in technical commercial sales
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Analytical approach with good attention to detail
  • Experience managing an effective sales process and maintaining within Salesforce
  • Keep up to date on market trends and data insights to create actionable strategies
