Job Summary
Drive growth through managing and monitoring sales teams to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives. Manage the best distribution and expansion in the coveraged area.
General Responsibilities
- Develop and implement short- and long-term sales strategies and plans (e.g. plan sales routes, new customer generation, etc.) to achieve sales targets for assigned businesses/territories
- Manage and monitor progress of sales performance, marketing activities, including market hygiene versus client budget and store call cycles. Implement customized solutions based on changing markets and trends
- Track the competitor’s activities including sales support activities, activation, new product launches and propose an encounter activities if necessary
- Drive the sales fundamentals – Coverage expansion, improvement of the actives stores, Assortment improvement, the number of invoices per day, speed to market of NPDs launch, & best-in class execution.
- Manage and monitor the branches stock request to ensure sufficient stock to supply the customers’ demand and deliver the target as per forecasted.
- Drive the effective meeting meeting, weekly review meeting to deliver business result. Ensure KPIs discussed, & actions oriented.
- Responsible for fair target setting to the respective team based on the market opportunity facts, coverage improvement etc.
- Develop and build relationships with key strategic customers to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to better understand client requirements and to leverage cross-product/industry business opportunities.

Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
- Demonstrate sound knowledge and a proven sales track record in assigned territories/products/services and an existing network of contacts
- Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Hands on experience in the market
Education
- Degree or professional qualification in Business Studies/Marketing/Economics or a related discipline
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in a similar role
- Minimum two to three years’ experience in a managerial capacity
