Title:  Executive Material Management

Job Summary

Execute inventory operations to ensure inventory is planned at optimal level to meet target turns, working capital performance and revenue growth.

General Responsibilities

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Implement inventory management strategies, guidelines and processes to ensure inventory is planned at optimal level to meet target turns
• Consolidate and forecast inventory requirements with Sales, Operations and Finance
• Monitor and track stock movements into and between the warehouses to maintain optimal stockholding
• Supervise the inventory system updates to ensure the accuracy of inventory records between material requirements planning (MRP) and actual levels
• Analyze inventory turnover and focus on minimizing both shortages and cost of inventory
• Prepare and consolidate inventory reports and KPIs to measure the service level and progress against inventory KPIs
• Review efficiency of current processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
• Build and maintain good relationships with internal team on inventory operations

Functional Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrate in-depth understanding of inventory planning methodologies and systems
• Demonstrate basic understanding of distribution centers, distribution and transport
• Proven experience in inventory management, procurement systems and logistics operations
• Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP - material requirements planning (MRP) system
• Proven experience in the consumer goods, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries
• Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Education

• Bachelor degree in supply chain, logistics management, business administration and/or any related field
