Title:  Executive Material Management

Job Summary

General Responsibilities

Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources

Ÿ   Implement inventory management strategies, guidelines and processes to ensure inventory is planned at optimal level to meet target turns

Ÿ   Consolidate and forecast inventory requirements with Sales, Operations and Finance

Ÿ   Monitor and track stock movements into and between the warehouses to maintain optimal stockholding

Ÿ   Supervise the inventory system updates to ensure the accuracy of inventory records between material requirements planning (MRP) and actual levels

Ÿ   Analyze inventory turnover and focus on minimizing both shortages and cost of inventory

Ÿ   Prepare and consolidate inventory reports and KPIs to measure the service level and progress against inventory KPIs

Ÿ   Review efficiency of current processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs

Ÿ   Build and maintain good relationships with internal team on inventory operations

Ÿ   Other task assigned by superior

Functional Skills and Knowledge

Demonstrate in-depth understanding of inventory planning methodologies and systems

Ÿ   Demonstrate basic understanding of distribution centers, distribution

and transport

Ÿ   Proven experience in inventory management, procurement systems and logistics operations

Ÿ   Demonstrate working knowledge of SAP - material requirements planning (MRP) system

Ÿ   Proven experience in the consumer goods, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries

Ÿ   Demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills

Ÿ   Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
