Job Summary
Support the execution of country/channel/product expansion strategies, execute research/feasibility studies and support the interactions with potential and existing clients and customers in line with business objectives
General Responsibilities
- Support the execution of country/channel/product expansion strategies to achieve short- and long-term business objectives
- Conduct both desk and field research/feasibility studies/market scan to gain better understanding of the latest market opportunities/trends in pharma and medical devices
- Provide basic analysis to research/feasibility studies/market scan to reinforce conclusions to market research
- Use the research data and conclusion to build proposals for both existing and new client
- Assist in meetings and material preparation to facilitate negotiations with potential clients/customers. Manage contract re-negotiations with existing clients.
- Support the execution of improvement initiatives to Business Development processes and ways of working to drive effectiveness and minimize redundancy
- Execute activities related to Business Development workforce capability and client/customer data management
- Review of contracts for agreed commercial terms to safeguard the interests of both the client and DKSH in specific
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of deal negotiations, and finalization of contracts
- Respond to queries from potential clients/customers in supporting business development interactions
- Support in updating and maintaining internal reports and databases.

Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate basic client and customer account management skills
- Demonstrate business development experience in applying business development principles for at least medium- to large-sized companies in similar industries
- Demonstrate understanding of the medical devices business.
Education
- Diploma in Business Studies/Marketing preferred
- Backed by Graduate in Pharma preferred
- Other qualifications related to the technical know-how work area (e.g. engineering, chemical, medical devices, etc.) will be considered
