Job Summary
The Medical Representative / Product Specialist drives sales growth and builds strong relationships within Private and Government Hospitals and Laboratories for DKSH's diagnostics portfolio. This role plays a meaningful part in DKSH's healthcare mission by delivering impactful product solutions that support better diagnostic outcomes across the healthcare sector.
General Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager to grow and manage key accounts across Private and Government Hospitals and Laboratories, executing targeted sales activities to meet and exceed sales targets
- Engage existing and prospective customers through regular calls and visits to generate orders, secure product demonstrations, and develop quotation opportunities
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that communicate key features and customer benefits, and prepare competitive quotations, tender prices, delivery terms, and commercial terms in accordance with company policies
- Monitor and report on competitor activities, track performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales plans, and maintain accurate customer and sales data within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and customer satisfaction, respond to customer orders and queries promptly, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery and long-term key account relationship development
- Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Degree or professional qualification in a Science- or Medical-related discipline; minimum one year of experience in a similar role is preferred, and fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply
- Foundational knowledge of the industry, market trends, competitor landscape, and customer needs, with a genuine interest in developing selling skills
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements for products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, and warranties
- Willingness to travel outstation and manage coverage across multiple areasStrong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointGood command of English, both written and spoken
Education
