Job Summary
Implement marketing and promotional plans, coordinate product communication activities and conduct/compile research and marketing information for reporting purposes
General Responsibilities
- Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
- Implement marketing plans for products and services to achieve business objectives and marketing strategies
- Support the development of annual marketing budget to align to clients' needs and marketing plans. Track and document marketing expenditures and highlight deviations from budget
- Conduct market research and compile information on market trends, consumer behavior, competitor activities, etc. Perform basic analysis for decision making purpose
- Implement advertising and promotional plans according to agreed objectives to ensure effective execution of advertising and promotion activities
- Coordinate and organize product communication activities, launches, exhibitions, media relations activities, etc. to drive awareness of products/services
- Compile marketing information/updates and market research data/analysis as inputs to management report preparation
- Support business planning with internal/external stakeholders (e.g. sales) in budgeting, marketing plans development, etc. to align to business priorities
- Work closely with external vendors and agencies (e.g. event organizers, advertising agencies, etc.) to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge and understanding of the business and industry
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge in the company's products/services and application of marketing principles/practices
- Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
- Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
Education
Degree or professional qualification in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration or a related discipline
