What You Will Deliver

•    To identify new sales opportunities, develop strategies & tactical plan to create competition edge. (eg Bundling offer and custom make proposal for breakthrough) 
•    To gather market intelligence and support SWOT analysis & development (eg Competitor / useful recipe, Food Trend & etc)  
•    To ice break & maintain good rapport with external stakeholders to ensure brand loyalty and business sustainability. (eg Exe Chef, Pastry Chef, F&B Manager, R&D Manager & etc)
•    Responsible for providing business direction, guidance and training to Sub D / Wholesaler 
•    Conduct product demonstration, Menu creation, blind testing with customers to make conversion / brand switching 
•    Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditures against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
•    To ensure all accounts receivable from the trade are collected back within the stipulated terms and in line with the company’s collection target 
•    To ensure products are delivered timely and to ensure products freshness and availability 
•    To identify and develop for new potential area / customer base
•    Achieve sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts.
•    Research and report on market/competitor/customer data and other relevant data to provide insights and support for negotiation processes
•   Stay connected to the source of data providers. Ensure data collection cycles for analysis occur within the timelines provided
•   Drive self-learning and improvement in Food Services and DKSH behavior as part of continuous learning

What You Bring

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Studies / Marketing / Economics or a related discipline
  • Minimum one to two years’ experience in a similar role Sales background dealing with HORECA exposure/experience is highly desirable
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
  •  Demonstrate basic knowledge in assigned territories/products/ services and strong selling skills
  • Demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills 
  • Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
