Title:  Product Specialist

About the Role

The Senior / Product Specialist (Medical Device – Laboratory) drives sales growth and product performance for laboratory analyzers, External Quality Assessment (EQA) programs, and related products across laboratories, private hospitals, teaching hospitals, and government hospitals.

This role is central to expanding DKSH's laboratory diagnostics portfolio by building strong customer relationships, educating healthcare professionals, and delivering high standards of product support and service.

What You Will Deliver

• Achieve sales targets for Retail Chemist Prescription Audit (RCPA) programs, analyzers, and related laboratory products across laboratories, private hospitals, teaching hospitals, and government hospitals in designated areas, while identifying and developing new potential accounts to build analyzer uptake and drive new External Quality Assessment (EQA) program enrollment
• Educate Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and related stakeholders on the value of EQA and other products, emphasizing the importance of accurate diagnostics and user-friendly solutions that improve patient care
• Defend and grow existing customer relationships through EQA sample programs, expand the patient base for existing analyzer parameters, and work with vendors and agents to grow the business effectivelyCollaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely RCPA enrollment, and work with hospital teams to facilitate machine placement and outright purchase opportunities
• Attend to customer requests, enquiries, and complaints promptly and effectively, maintain and update the customer database accurately, and conduct product presentations and after-sales service while monitoring competitor activities regularlyAdministrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

• Minimum Degree in Bioscience, Bioengineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience for the Specialist role; 5 to 6 years for the Senior Specialist role, preferably with laboratory products or related experience
• Experience in handling Continuing Medical Education (CME) talks
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with an independent, entrepreneurial mindset and a strong sense of ownershipWillingness to travel outstation as needed (approximately 25%)
