About The Role
The Product Specialist / Specialist, Medical Sales drives targeted sales performance and supports the growth of DKSH's medical product portfolio across assigned territories in Malaysia. This role contributes meaningfully to DKSH's healthcare mission by connecting the right medical solutions to customers and healthcare professionals through disciplined sales execution and strong relationship building.
What You Will Deliver
Provide field-informed insights into medical sales planning and execute targeted action plans to meet or exceed sales targets across assigned businesses and territories
Engage existing and prospective customers through regular calls and visits to generate orders, secure product demonstrations, and develop quotation opportunities
Deliver compelling product demonstrations that highlight key features and customer benefits, and prepare competitive quotations, tender prices, delivery, and commercial terms in accordance with company policies
Monitor and report on competitor activities, track progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales plans, and maintain accurate sales data and customer records within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and customer satisfaction, respond to customer orders and queries promptly, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery and long-term key account relationship development
Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required
What You Bring
- Degree or professional qualification in a Science- or Medical-related discipline
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience; fresh graduates with an allied health or science qualification are strongly encouraged to apply
- Foundational knowledge of the industry, market trends, competitor landscape, and customer needs, with a genuine interest in developing selling skillsBasic understanding of regulatory requirements for products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, and warranties
- Willingness to travel outstation and manage coverage across multiple areas
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointGood command of English, both written and spoken
