Title:  Manager Technical Sales

Job Responsibilities

Sales Target Achievement: 

• Develops business plan & sales strategy to achieve sales target in the SCI (PO and E&S segment)
• Has the overall responsibility of the sales target.
• Manage working capital for Polymer and E&S segment in Malaysia and Singapore which includes inventory & customer payment collection.
• Implement & drive new business developments to achieve business growth.
• Maintaining and strengthening relationship with key suppliers and customers.
• Driving and leading through management of sales team and ensuring the achievement of annual sales target.
• To drive execution of commercial excellence initiative to maximize profitable revenue.

Reports, Customers & Suppliers Relationship:

• Continuously develops the quality of CRM reports & assures CRM report from all relevant customer interactions with sales team.
• Provide sales forecasts, Monthly and/or Quarterly reports to suppliers & management.
• Aligns PM strategies and SCI core supplier strategies
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry
• Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in the Polymer industry
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and understanding of the industry/market/competitors/customers
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the principles of sales and marketing
• Demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills
