Description: 

1. Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze sales, revenue, and profit data to identify trends and variances.
  • Generate financial models and forecasts to guide decision-making.
  • Create regular and ad hoc reports for stakeholders.

 

2. Market and Competitor Analysis:

  • Research market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive positioning.
  • Provide insights on market opportunities and risks.

 

3. Performance Monitoring:

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales growth, market share, and profitability.
  • Develop dashboards for real-time performance monitoring.

 

4. Strategic Insights:

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to provide actionable insights.
  • Recommend strategies to optimize pricing, promotions, and product mix.

 

5. Budget and Cost Analysis:

  • Evaluate the financial implications of business strategies and campaigns.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness in operations.

 

6. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between finance, sales, and operations teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management.

  • Manage and oversee team’s delivery of team/function goals to drive execution against goals set
  • Drive and manage learning and development of team in the area of Commercial Analysis and DKSH behaviors to achieve team/function goals
  • Drive self-learning and improvement in the area of Commercial Analysis and DKSH behaviors as part of continuous learning  

 

Functional skills and knowledge

  • Demonstrate strong understanding of FMCG industry / business / products
  • Proven experience in a similar analytical or commercial role is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and predictive analysis
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau and SQL.) and advanced Excel.
  • Familiarity with statistical and financial modeling techniques.
  • Understanding of commercial processes such as pricing, promotions, and sales strategies.
  • Awareness of market dynamics and consumer behavior
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on actionable insights.
  • Ability to present data and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

 

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

 

Work experience

  • Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a managerial capacity
