About The Role

The Manager, Client Management is responsible for managing client accounts to ensure seamless business integration and drive sustainable growth within DKSH's Consumer Goods business in Malaysia. This role creates lasting commercial impact by building strong client partnerships, resolving operational challenges, and co-developing strategies that deliver measurable results.

What You Will Deliver

 

  • Manage departmental budgets and costs in line with annual allocations to ensure resources are deployed efficiently and effectively
  • Develop and implement business and marketing plans in close coordination with clients to achieve shared business objectives and drive profitability
  • Monitor and report client operational performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established in service level agreements to ensure accountability and continuous improvement
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for new product introductions and product expansion, and manage the contract renewal process to sustain long-term client partnerships
  • Address and resolve clients' operational issues and service complaints promptly, minimizing disruption and maintaining client confidence
  • Plan and facilitate regular business communications and review meetings with client management teams to maintain strategic alignment and drive mutual growth
  • Serve as the primary DKSH representative to client management teams, facilitating resolution of ad hoc operational issues and escalating complex matters to senior management as appropriate
  • Lead and oversee team performance to drive consistent execution against function goals and targets
  • Champion team learning and development in Client Management practices and DKSH values, while pursuing continuous self-improvement to strengthen leadership effectiveness
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or an equivalent degree
  • Minimum five years of experience in a similar role, with at least two years in a managerial capacity
  • Strong understanding of clients' industry, business landscape, and product portfolio
  • Strong client management and communication skills with the ability to build and sustain productive, long-term partnerships
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to deliver complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives effectively
  • Strong analytical background and knowledge of statistical analysis methods
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity, particularly in cross-country and cross-cultural interactions
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
